Every newborn carries a story all their own; a beautiful blend of everything that makes you, you. With my refined, natural approach to newborn photography, your baby remains the heart of every image. We linger on the details that matter most…long fingers, delicate ears, soft wisps of hair, and those perfectly wrinkled toes.
These fleeting features deserve to be remembered.
My natural light studio is located in Downtown Roswell, Georgia. I cover the Atlanta Metro area as well. If you prefer an in-home lifestyle session, I can travel to your home for a ‘in the life’ style session. Lifestyle sessions do have additional travel fee applied when reserving.
Ideal time for your newborn portraits is before 2 weeks after delivery. At this point they are the most curly and sleepy and we can still capture all of those perfect newborn features. Most of the images you see in my portfolio galleries have been taken during this time, but there is no wrong time to take photos of your baby…sessions just may look a little different. The older baby gets the more alert and awake they become. Contact me ASAP for best scheduling. Babies do not typically come on time, so sessions are held by date and once baby arrives, we will select a date for your session.
I do have a supply of wraps and cozy, coordinating blankets. My style is neutral and baby focused, so I do not photograph themes or “props”. I do carry delicate headbands as well.
Yes! Your baby is a new part of your family and your family will be included in the portraits. I like to keep the sibling and family photos relaxed but guided and less posed than a typical portrait studio.
